Armed with nothing but an idea, a few willing clients and a love of words, my passion for kickass storytelling led me to start a business totally focused on, well, storytelling. That was in 2012.
Now Yakkety Yak is a full-service digital marketing agency that leverages brand strategy, content development and digital marketing to craft high-impact brands. Since then, without any outside capital or investors, I scaled Yakkety Yak into a multi-seven-figure content marketing agency.
My gift is to effectively navigate the changing world of the digital marketing industry by fusing culture with content and navigating by purpose. Over the years we have tailored our clientele and can now say that we only work with brands and businesses that care about making a difference. I freaking love saying that.
Mom & Advocate
I built Yakkety Yak knowing that one day I would have a family. Now, I’m mom to three little lunatics, who are also the absolute light of my life. I am passionate about my work, I am passionate about my family and I also know that I am insanely lucky that I get to write my own rules for myself and my employees. This is why I am a staunch advocate for women in the workplace, especially working moms.
The road for women in business gets a whole lot easier when we help one another. Let’s crush all of those ceilings, then turn around and lend a hand to the next woman. There is always more room at the table.

I am an avid supporter of women in business, giving back to the community and paying it forward. I believe so much in making a difference, yet we must first look outside of ourselves to recognize the need and then look within to cultivate change. I have always been a believer in the power of prayer and manifestation, yet my spiritual journey heightened during the pandemic. Since then, I have become a Level II Reiki Healer, a Sound Healing professional, and my Yoga Teacher Training and Breathwork Facilitator Training are both on the horizon in 2024. I love leading women’s retreats, facilitating workshops and helping leaders to access their intution and purpose. I can’t wait to create more offerings in this space moving forward.
