I’m a mother, daughter, sister, seeker, founder and instigator.
I’m a poet, painter, music-maker, dreamer, and storyteller.
I want
this space to feel like a safe space and a mirror where you can see your true self, as a whole-ass person. I was born to serve the greater good and strive to create spaces where you feel deeply held, witnessed, supported and like you can be your authentic self.
I wish
to support you because I know first hand how easy it is to lose yourself—whether that’s in motherhood, career or entrepreneurship. Being in alignment with yourself, knowing what you want and who you are is the gateway to a more loving human collective.
I hope

What Lights Me Up
The Beautiful, Messy Path Of Entrepreneurship
My first big (failed) dream was to live in NYC after college and be the next Carrie Bradshaw. No one hired me. That’s when I realized that I was going to have to carve my own path professionally—and that’s exactly what I did. Every step I took career-wise served as a stepping stone for my next chapter (not to mention some incredible fodder for storytelling).
After that, I started my career slanging’ candy for a Chicago-based candy manufacturer, and learned so much about what it means to SELL for a living. And I also learned a lot about patience. From there, I jumped to the field of Commercial Real Estate, and became a tenant rep office broker in downtown Chicago. I was one of maybe ten women in the role at the time and 100% commission. It was exciting and wild and cutthroat as hell. I never lost my drive to make a difference so when I saved up enough money, I made a massive career change: I went back to school to earn a masters in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, and simultaneously started my content marketing agency Yakkety Yak. This was 2012.
From NYC aspirations to building Yakkety Yak into a multi-seven figure business, all while bringing three kids into the world in rapid-fire, to BURN OUT from striving to meet the expectations of hustle culture …I have seen it all.
The thing is that on paper, I had checked all of the boxes of success, yet I was merely surviving—and certainly not thriving. I kept feeling like there was something missing, that I was meant for something more. So I started searching for more meaning and depth in my purpose. That’s where the real story begins …
