I wear a lot of hats…but this one happens to be my favorite 💖

Three days into summer and planning all the yes days and weekend adventures and saying no to anything that keeps me from afternoons at the pool with my kids.

It’s not going

This weekend I attended a retreat as part of a leadership training program I’m part of. And damn it was hard. It was hard to be away from my kids as they wrapped up the school year. I shed a lot of tears. I almost didn’t go.

But I breat

When women step away from the noise, the pressure, the constant doing—something powerful happens.

They find ease.
They remember who they are.
They freaking laugh.

No one is going to give you permission to just do the thing. And over time, I’ve learned to look inward for that permission slip—which means building up that self trust.
